![]() “Someday, I will be proud of myself” My name's Elena, but it's alright to address me any name that suits you. I'm a Registered Nurse in the Philippines and in the United States of America. Currently waiting for a miracle so I can finally work in the west. Being a couch potato and drowning myself in books are some of my likes while anything-pork and futile people are my dislikes. Am I that much of a loser that I am only reading The Hunger Games just now (actually, yesterday)? I know Claudine has sent me this for like weeks or even months ago, but it's just now that I got my hands on it..... I guess I didn't pay much attention. But now, I am so hooked!!! Hihi sorry that I am so late with this! I got so caught up with my academic life....Just keddeng! I just AM TRYING. It's not like I'd get unos just cause. I've just been really trying so hard to study and study and study and understand, but it's still too difficult for me to comprehend all at once. The new curriculum of Nursing program in every school will need you to compress everything, a body system in one or two weeks, depending on the number of diseases. And that's not good, I know, coz our clinical instructor in one of my duty told us that back then, they had one system per semester. Now, my NCM professor needs us, students, to understand IMMEDIATELY in one or two weeks a system and its diseases. Like that will be instilled in our minds? No, I don't think so. My quizzes have only been guesses since I don't really get the time I need to study because 3-day duties are interfering with my schedule, the focus I need to give on my major subject is given during duties. Also, this is the reason why I envy San Beda's schedule. First half of the sem is filled with lectures, while the second half is for their duty. I mean, that's the ideal thing! Sorry I'm just so depressed that I think I'm not absorbing ALL. Of course there are things that stay in my head but still. This makes me reminisce my days back in Trinity. Back then, I used to read NCM or AnaPhy like it was the hardest. Well, they are, but I managed. Not like now. Anyway. :( |
