| Social dating app aka Tinder experience
This past few weeks have been the craziest days of my life. While still in Singapore, Nicole insisted that I use Tinder for our entertainment. I tried saying no but it was futile talk, so I went to trying it out again, after a few months of idle. Yeah I matched with various people, various nationality... Some were asking for it, only a few are down for normal chat. Lol haha. So, it went on and on until we got to the Philippines and I was still using it. Okay I might have attached myself a little bit to this Scotman bullshit. Okay just kidding. He's a Scotman working on his Ph. D in Singapore. He's fine alright, good sense of humor, just the right amount of naughty, and very pretty eyes. But then the problem was, well he's a Scotman, and according to him it is not in their culture to date nor whatever normal people do like when someone takes you to dinner or you hang out. But despite those things, I don't know I guess I fell for him a little. Also, he wasn't very talkative, which is a Scottish trait according to him, and so I was the one left to carry on with the conversation, asking questions this and that. It was actually a very tedious relationship between us, for me, because I came to realize it as beginning to be a one-way street...and so, my hopeless romantic self just decided to end everything. Now we don't talk anymore. Although being honest, I miss him. But that's just life I guess, you meet and then you bid goodbye. Haha! |
